Prerequisites

Note that the updating of changes in the delta queue takes place within the update function module of table ETTIFN. For this reason, all fields in this table are relevant for changes.

The correct delta update can only be guaranteed if all updates take place using the function modules supplied by SAP.

Use

This DataSource extracts values for installation facts.

In order to extract values for an operand from the installation facts, the indicator BWREL (operand is BW-relevant) must first be set in the operand definition.

Delta Update

This DataSource supports the delta method AIMD (after image with deletion flag via delta queue).

Fields of Origin in the Extraction Structure

All the fundamental fields from table ETTIFN are available. The following table names the fields for the transfer structure BIW_ISU_INSTFACT, which are defined by SAP.

Features of the Extractor

Load the delta regularly in BW (at least on a weekly basis, up to a daily basis). This reduces the size of the delta queue and means that reporting is always based on current data.

Note also that the volume of data increases considerably after mass billing.
