Partner conversion error in sales or service documents

Issue : A CRM sales or service document is created in the CRM system, before replication
the document is errored with :

Partner with the partner role AP cannot be converted (Notification E C(010)

or

Partner with the partner role CP cannot be converted (Notification E C(010)

Possible root causes of above errors:

1) The mapping of the partner function(s) involving the partner function 00000015 is mapped to AP or CP but in ECC you are using
the different one (i..e CP instead of AP or AP instead of CP depending on the circumstances).

Distribution of Partner Functions from CRM into SAP ECC and check to which R/3 partner function the CRM partner function  0000015 is mapped. 

An easy way to verify if the mapping is ok for a contact person is to check if the contents of the R/3 table CRMKUNNR and he CRM table CRMM_BUT_CUSTNO are identical.
 

2) The above errors can also occur despite correct mapping between CRM  and ECC but if the partner function in the partner procedure
used in ECC is not in synch with partner function in the partner procedure in CRM. For example you use partner function CP in CRM and
a wrong corresponding CP in the ECC partner procedure. You need to use the same partner function in both systems CRM and ECC.

3) If a business partner has been deleted but is still in use in sales, contracts or service transactions above errors
will still be populated as the function module crm_order_maintain.
If these are live order/ contracts then the contact person should either be removed from the
document before you delete the masterdata or else you should not delete the partner.
