SAP CRM Sales : Creating a quotation directly in ECC from CRM .
As of SAP CRM 5.0, it is possible to create a quotation in SAP ERP directly from an opportunity as a follow-up transaction.
This means you execute your presale activities in SAP CRM and edit follow-up transactions, such as
quotation creation and sales order processing, directly in SAP ERP, using your usual interface and without leaving SAP CRM. You can execute quotation and order processing in SAP ERP and also
use integrated SAP CRM.
This function especially supports sales employees who mainly work in SAP CRM and only rarely in SAP ERP, and who do not require all the functions that SAP ERP quotation management and order management offer.
The creation of an order in SAP ERP from an opportunity is only supported if:
• You have defined cross-system copying control for transaction types in Customizing.
• You have defined a profile for the allowed ERP sales transactions.
• You have assigned this profile to the user role for the user (function profile ERP_SALES_ORDER).
In addition, parameter ERP_SALES_DOCUMENTS_IN_PCUI has to be assigned in the
communication settings during the definition of RFC destinations (transaction SM59).
